Highlights: Master Bathroom
- Expanded the master bathroom by removing part of a bedroom wall to create a larger open shower and double sink.
- Relocated and created a large walk-in shower.
- Installed white tile flooring with warm tones of brown.
- Used large 2×4 ft marble-like tile.
- Increased the single-bowl vanity to a double-bowl vanity.
- Added a custom glass shower door.
- Added emerald green tile on the feature wall.

What was the most frustrating part about finding a contractor?
So, for us the most challenging part was narrowing down the search. We interviewed three different contractors and trying to find one that was reliable and dependable was the biggest challenge. For us Pittsburgh’s Best Remodeling®, the minute we interviewed them we knew that they were the ones.
Why did you end up choosing Pittsburgh’s Best?
After we had our in-home consultation with Missy we were sold.
Is there anything the designers did to exceed your expectations?
Missy was phenomenal I will say. We had pretty clear design concept of what we wanted, but allowing Missy to have her creativity and flexibility to choose the materials made our life so much easier.
Is there anything the installation crew did to exceed your expectations?
Definitely, Tony was phenomenal. I work in downtown Pittsburgh so I was not here during a lot of the construction process, but I met with Tony every morning. He took 30 minutes basically every day to talk thru any questions I had, what his plans were for the day and any follow-ups that were needed.
What was your favorite part about working with Pittsburgh’s Best?
Our favorite part was the communications between the Designer, the Project Leads, thru the use of the app they have called BuilderTrend. We could send messages daily and get responses very quickly
What would you tell someone considering hiring Pittsburgh’s Best?
So, I would say Pittsburgh’s Best has been one of the most reliable and dependable companies that we’ve worked with on our home, so if it is within your budget, I recommend Pittsburgh’s Best
What is your favorite feature from the remodel?
So, our favorite feature is that we have so much more room. Originally the bathroom stopped here, so all of this additional space did not exist 6 months ago. We just want to say thank you to the entire Pittsburgh’s Best team from Missy to Sue, Tony and Tobey. The team was phenomenal. We can’t thank you enough.
