It really depends on the specifics of your job, but as a rough estimate, a complete Bathroom Remodel usually takes 2-3 weeks from the start of installation to completion. A Kitchen Remodel takes 3-4 weeks and a Basement Remodel takes 4-5 weeks. Additions cover such a wide range of options, it’s difficult to give a range.
Pittsburgh’s Best Remodeling specializes in kitchen and bath design. Just like you wouldn’t go to a general surgeon for hip surgery, you shouldn’t rely on a general contractor to give you the same attention to detail that a kitchen and bath designer would. We are immersed daily in the hundreds of details required to design, engineer and install your new kitchen/bath. We can take your project from a rather mundane kitchen/bath remodel into something quite extraordinary.
When you decide to renovate your home, you have two options. First is to hire a designer to create the concept art, and then hire a contractor to bring the design to life. The second option is to hire a design/build company to handle every step of the process from start to finish.
Pittsburgh’s Best Remodeling offers a design/build remodeling process to unify the workflow from initial concept to project completion. This means you have one point of contact, and one team working in unison to bring your vision to life. The benefits of this approach include lower costs, improved communication, fewer change orders, and faster project completion.
The best time to fulfill your remodeling dreams is when you are ready! It’s also a good idea to have such projects done when there will be the fewest number of people in the home, i.e. after the holidays.
Professional designers are trained to make the space fit your needs. They know the right questions to ask you in order to get the answers they need. They know code requirements for structure, clearances, egress, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, materials, etc. They can make your space both functional and aesthetic. You may be concerned that professional designs cost money, but in actuality they may save you money. Designers work with you to get the most for your budget. Money is also saved because things will not need to be fixed later because of something overlooked in the initial designs, or because it didn’t pass inspection.
No, you can either give us a garage code or we can put a lock box on your door.

No, many jobs require a permit based on scope and dollar value. We will determine if your job fits that criteria and obtain the permit and all necessary inspections as required. Also, the size and scope of your project will determine the level of design you need and whether you need a structural engineer or architect. We will handle all of this for you.
No, we offer complete renovation from floor to ceiling. We take care of everything for you. You just sit back and relax.
