9 STEPS TO DESIGNING YOUR DREAM KITCHEN, BATH OR BASEMENT

9 Steps to Designing Your Dream Kitchen, Bathroom, or Basement

Renovating your kitchen, bathroom or basement can be an exciting process, if you choose the right home remodeler.  It can also become a nightmare if you choose the wrong one.  When you choose Pittsburgh’s Best Remodeling, Casey and his team will hold your hand throughout the entire process from beginning to end making sure that everything goes smoothly.  You just sit back and relax and enjoy watching your dream kitchen, bathroom or basement come to life.

At Pittsburgh’s Best Remodeling our Design Consultants will visit your home to get an understanding of your specific remodeling needs, designs and what you want your new kitchen, bathroom or basement remodel to look like.  This initial consultation takes an hour to 1½ hours depending upon the complexity of your home remodel.  Your Design Consultant will view your existing space, take measurements and photographs and sift through any design ideas you have from photos, Houzz or Pinterest.  Your Design Consultant will then help you design a kitchen, bathroom or basement of your dreams at a cost you can afford.

You will receive the experience of our Design Consultants with an average of over 10 years of experience in kitchen or bathroom remodeling working on your behalf. Your kitchen, bathroom or basement will be designed using state of the art design software that provides an accurate three-dimensional view of your projects. You’ll be able to make changes and see exactly what your finished remodeling project will look like.

With Pittsburgh’s Best Remodeling there’s no need to run from store to store to purchase all of the materials for your home remodel. You will choose from hundreds of options at our one stop shop Kitchen and Bathroom Design Center Showroom. Your design Consultant will help you select not only the appropriate color scheme but also your cabinets, counter tops, backsplash, flooring, fixtures and hardware. You’ll know exactly what your kitchen, bathroom, or basement remodel will look like by seeing the samples first hand. By selecting these materials, we can give you an accurate cost estimate. Your Design Consultant will help you determine the best solutions for your home. If your design and cost is acceptable, then an agreement will be signed at this phase.

After agreement is signed, your Design Consultant will order all of your products and ensure that they are all shipped correctly and arrive in good condition. And to guarantee that you won’t face any inconveniences or delays, we wait to start your project until all materials have arrived and are at our warehouse. We take full responsibility for the materials from the time they ship from the manufacturer until we install them in your home.

Before we begin your remodeling project, your Project Manager and Design Consultant will meet with you in your home to review your home specifications and make sure everyone fully understands the Scope of Work. Your Project Manager will look over the job site and re-measure and answer any questions you have and schedule a tentative date for installation. Once all materials have arrived in our warehouse you will be given an exact start date.

If any inspections are required by the City or County, this is the time when that will happen. Additionally, your Lead Carpenter or Project Manager will walk through the project with all inspectors making sure that your project will be up to code.

For your peace of mind your Project Manager is your day to day contact during the entire phase of construction. You will be provided with his/her cell phone number and be encouraged to call with any questions or concerns you may have between 7 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday. Our Lead Carpenters average over 20 years’ experience and are assigned only one project at a time. Because most clients are not at home during the day you can be assured that the same Lead Carpenter is on site every day. This hands-on approach helps to complete your job quickly with as little disruption to your life as possible. Also, your Project Manager will email you weekly updates to keep you informed of our remodeling progress.

During the construction phase we conceal the entire area being remodeled which keeps dust from traveling to other areas of your home. At the end of the construction phase we broom sweep the entire area and discard all debris. Your Project Manager will then schedule a walk through with you as the final inspection. We will go over all care and use instructions for your new products as well as answer any further questions you have and ensure that you are totally satisfied with your finished project.

We offer you an exclusive 5 year Limited Warranty on labor.  Our goal is your complete satisfaction so we call you to make sure that you are 100% satisfied and ask that you complete our customer survey to get your feedback.  We then ask to enroll you into our lucrative customer referral program where you can earn hundreds of dollars of credits toward your next home remodeling project.  Then we ask you to review the Lead Carpenter who completed your remodel so that he can receive his bonus.

This entire detailed and thorough remodeling process is why 80% of our work comes from past clients, repeat business and client referrals.
